Licenses

Learn how SWAT's licenses can be used, what's allowed, and what limitations apply when using our services.

This License Agreement defines the scope and limitations of the license granted to you when you subscribe to or access the SWAT platform. SWAT offers various license types depending on your subscription tier, including platform access licenses, API usage licenses, and data output licenses for reports and analytics generated through our tools.

By activating your subscription or accessing any licensed component of the SWAT platform, you agree to the terms set forth in this agreement. This license is separate from and supplementary to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which govern other aspects of your relationship with SWAT.

What does this license cover?

SWAT grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the SWAT platform for the duration of your active subscription. This license covers our core products including the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Order Management System (OMS), Decision Support System (DSS), and SWAT Cloud infrastructure.

API licenses permit you to integrate the SWAT platform with your existing systems, e-commerce platforms, and third-party logistics providers using our published API endpoints. API usage is subject to rate limits and usage quotas defined in your subscription plan. Exceeding these limits may require an upgraded license tier.

Data output licenses cover reports, analytics dashboards, and AI-generated insights produced by the SWAT platform using your operational data. You have the right to use these outputs for your internal business purposes. However, the underlying algorithms, models, and proprietary methodologies used to generate these outputs remain the exclusive property of SWAT.

What are the permitted uses and restrictions?

Your license permits use of the SWAT platform solely for your internal business operations, including warehouse management, inventory tracking, order processing, fulfillment coordination, and supply chain analytics. Multi-site usage is permitted within the scope of your subscription plan across your authorized warehouse locations.

You may not sublicense, lease, rent, or transfer your SWAT license to any third party without prior written approval from SWAT. You may not use the platform to provide managed services or operate a competing warehouse management service. Access credentials are assigned to individual users and may not be shared across multiple persons.

Warehouse owners participating in the SWAT Alliance or Partner programs receive extended license rights as defined in their respective program agreements. These may include rights to use SWAT branding, access to additional training materials, and expanded API quotas to support higher order volumes within the network.

What about third-party components?

The SWAT platform incorporates third-party software components and open-source libraries, each governed by their respective license terms. A complete list of third-party components and their applicable licenses is available upon request. Your use of the SWAT platform constitutes acceptance of these third-party license terms. SWAT ensures that all incorporated components are compatible with our platform license and do not impose additional restrictions on your authorized use.

How long does the license last?

Licenses are granted on a subscription basis with monthly or annual billing cycles. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 14 days before the renewal date. After cancellation or expiration, a 30-day grace period is provided during which you may renew at the same terms. After the grace period, your license is terminated and platform access is revoked, though you may export your data during this window.

How is license compliance monitored?

SWAT reserves the right to audit your use of the platform to verify compliance with the license terms. This may include reviewing API usage logs, active user counts, and the number of connected warehouse locations. If an audit reveals unauthorized use or license violations, SWAT will notify you and provide 30 days to remedy the breach. Failure to resolve violations may result in license suspension, termination, or additional fees for the unauthorized usage.

Can these license terms be changed?

SWAT may update the terms of this License Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, pricing, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email or through a notice on the SWAT dashboard. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may terminate your subscription before the new terms take effect.
